2 songs packed on a single sided clear square lathe cut, jiggered out and greased up good. One semi-sing-along, coupled with a banter collage that aches for its own freedom. Bryan Days long lasting project of hand-made sculpture and music machines comes back into focus on a new unread cassette that brings forth a healthy heap of displacement. Crunch and dust rockets – odd concrete heat and blackmarket plasma stolen from the back of a truck. Sullen sounds of clink an puss and pluss and huss really reminds me of something being tempered.

The soundtrack to a dying decay.  recorded live at the Sweatshop Galley, Omaha, NE – for UNREAD JUNKFEST #19 – mixed and mastered from reel to reel tapes and various mic set ups around the gallery by C. Mcalister and C. Dailey. It feels as bad as a  slap on the wrist, and sounds just as pleasant as a nod from a gentle uncle. Warped and overblown tape and field recordings made that night (nov. 9th 2013) cuckold the glue as its mixed and mastered and jutted into the abyss. A co-release with the great Spew Geyser – in unlimited editions for all prosperity to take hold and hook to…was a pretty good time. Hear for yourself. Bitchin’ Bajas – ‘Live At The Hideout’ boxset
During the month of January in 2013 Bitchin’ Bajas held residency at the Hideout in Chicago, IL. Performing every Tuesday of the month, playing two different sets each week. Collaborating with friends, playing with films in quadraphonic, using the Bitchitronics set up live and changing where the performance took place in the bar helped vary each set. Using several recording devices, all rehearsals and performances of each week were documented. Later it was all edited and mixed making these six sides a collage of the entire residency.

Angel Olsen – ‘Burn Your Fire For No Witness’ CS
Angel offers a new full length album, Burn Your Fire for No Witness out February 18th, 2014 where she further explores a sound familiar, but only widens her vocal range to new expressive heights. She captures both bravery and vulnerability in her war cries bringing the listener closer if they aren’t already sucked into Angel’s crackling fire gaze. Her new album, produced by John Congleton, stokes the fire and aggravates the flames inside of Angel releasing an energy and voice not heard before. On this double cassette release, we see two artists, Elijah Forrest and William Hutson, better known by their monikers Lolly Gesserit and Rale respectively, spread their art as a form of communication.

Open software cyberpunk culture & noise wave tones by two very special Greek artists. From her frequent live performances, to her custom built synthesizers Psarra maintains a pivotal role in today’s DIY crafts, electronic music scene. D4m4g3 (side A) is a 15m track composed through the use of handmade, embroidered synthesizers with embedded LilyPad Arduino micro-controllers & miscellaneous electronic components. Apostates (side B) is a mixture of field recordings, Game boy console emissions and synthi-E manipulations in free running mode by a rather enigmatic performer; Georgios Karamanolakis is credited with organising the native “Omio team”. The main interest of his practice being the collection of sounds and images from hidden urban spaces and post-apocalyptic structures. Edition of 100 copies. Pro dubbed, imprinted tapes.
