Julia LaDense/NRYY – ‘Nothing Is Special’ C50 $5
Nothing Is Special is a noisy split release with prolific NRYY from Japan and the sexy experiments artist Julia LaDense from somewhere in the United Stated. The two produce very unique and different sounds that clash and bang into each other on each tape side. Julia LaDense utilizes field recordings, guitar amps, circuit bent toys, and this lo-fi crunchy style that Julia is so fond of. Julia’s side is broken up with a bizarro remix of Lemonade that sounds so blown out. The made for tape sounds are what Julia is calling her best work yet and her last solo effort. NRYY continues his catalogue with electronic sounds and mixes that bridge eerie and scary with chaotic and harsh. A horrific display of shattering sounds and blood letting dismay. NRYY brings in weird samples and noises that are intriguing and dynamic. This is a limited to 30 dark gray cassettes on chrome tape. Very limited. Artwork by Mantichora. Free mp3 download with purchase. Super rare NYC trading card comes with the first few orders.
Fukushima Daiichi – ‘Fukushima Daiichi’ C32 $5
Fukushima Daiichi is the produced and agitated remixing of Ectoplasm and Nattymari. A feel good dark sound featuring a slew of beautiful guest appearances by C.A.N.S. and Tin Window. Beautiful soundscapes are dragged across the canvas of degraded hums and distorted noises. Fukushima Daiichi produces a dynamic sound unique to both artists yet features a similar tone, hints and reminders of their original works. A concentrated effort of conceptualized beats and blips that paints the dark canvas with an oily mixture of color and vibration. Orange tint cassettes limited to 48. Free mp3 with purchase.
Ops Esponja – ‘Soaked Salad Wedding Dress (Special Delux)’ C35 $5
Soaked Salad Wedding Dress (special deluxe) is the debut beat album by young, up-and-cummed Texas strange heart Ops Esponja (Owen Story). The album features amazing beats and breaks with some hectic mixes and production in a comforting raw style that is unique and sexy. Pop culture influences hair on fire weirdness and a casual sexual favor Ops Esponja has a style too stained to pass up. Pink cassettes on chrome tape limited to 30. Free mp3 with purchase.
Dopo Dormi – ‘Bought the Ranch’ C21 $4.5
I can only imagine sitting down having a conversation with San Diego’s Dopo Dormi must be one of the most bizarre circus of the strange surreal experiences a person can have. Trapped inside a deranged mind fuck – Bought The Ranch is the debut solo effort of Holysangreciqleta’s vocalist. Extremely haunting chants, playful lyrical methods and beat driven raps, Bought the Ranch is a strange sort of chaos – a lost without a map experience of drowning grinds and horrific incoherent instrumental vocals that provide a brewed mixture of a tortured soul. Limited edition chrome tape in a clear shell with dark artwork. First few orders comes with sculptured art by Dopo Dormi. Free mp3 download with purchase.
